The April 2016 events confirmed that power politics has been and remains one of the most important factors of world politics. Azerbaijan’s large-scale military aggression showed that the security system of the South Caucasus is incapable of functioning. The current regional policy is no longer able to ensure the balance of power and the preservation of peace as a whole. The following days of the four-day war had a cardinal impact on the rethinking of the world outlook of the world Armenians: the archetypes that had long been rooted in the mass consciousness of the nation lost their former significance.
